Your pictures on a mug

Add as many pictures as you like, drag them where you want them, and turn the mug around to check it. What you see is roughly what gets pressed.

£13 one picture
£15 two pictures, one each side
£16 full wrap with a background colour

All delivered anywhere in the UK. The price sorts itself out as you design — and two or more to the same address works out a good deal cheaper.

Your pictures

Drag them around the strip below to place them. The strip is the mug unrolled flat.

The mug

Standard 11oz — the usual mug size, 9.5 cm tall.

Or pick any colour — white

White is the printed surface itself, so it presses cleanest. A background colour is ink like everything else — strong colours work better than pale washes.

Drag to turn it around

What sublimation is, and what it can't do

The ink turns into a gas and bonds into the surface coating rather than sitting on top. Nothing to peel, crack or wash off — but it comes with two hard limits.

It only works on white or very light surfaces. The ink is see-through, so there's no white to print with. A picture on a black mug isn't something the process can do.
It only bonds to a coated surface. Our mugs are made for it — an ordinary mug from a cupboard wouldn't take the ink at all.

Why there's a border round the print

The press can't hold even pressure right where the handle joins, or where the mug curves away at the rim and the foot — print there comes out patchy. So there's a margin on all four sides, shown shaded on the strip. Pictures can sit right up to it, just not across it.
