How it's made
Everything else we make

Personalised clocks, photo slates and glass frames

Put your picture on a working clock, a glass photo frame, a slate, a keyring or a water bottle. Pick one, add your picture or words, and see it before you order. Pressed into the surface, so it lasts as long as the item does.

How it works, and what it can't do

The ink is heated until it turns into a gas and bonds into the surface itself. It doesn't sit on top, so there's no layer to crack or peel, and it won't wash out — the colours last as long as the thing you've put them on.

That bonding is also where the limits come from, and they're worth knowing before you ask.

Light colours only. The ink is see-through, and there's no white in the process. On a black shirt the design simply wouldn't show. This isn't something we can do badly — it's something that doesn't work at all.
A coated surface. The ink only bonds to a coating made for it, which is why we supply the blanks. An ordinary clock or an uncoated keyring from a shop won't take it.

What we print on

Working clocks (square or round, 20cm), a 10x8in glass photo frame, photo rock slate, keyrings and stainless water bottles, all with a coating made for the ink. Prices include UK delivery, and more than one of the same design works out cheaper.

Mugs and coasters are on Drinkware; shirts, hoodies and bags on Textiles. Something else, like an LED-base glass panel or a placemat? Email [email protected] and we'll quote it.

We don't keep everything in stock. We hold the basics and order the rest in as it's needed. That adds a few days before we can press it, and nothing to the price — we'll tell you the honest timescale when we quote.

We can only print on items we supply. Most shop-bought clothing is cotton or too dark to take the ink, and there's no way to be certain until it's in the press — we'd rather not have you post us something we have to send back, or risk spoiling a shirt that means something to you.

Getting a good print

Presses well

  • Bold, bright artwork with clear edges
  • High-resolution files — bigger is better
  • Strong contrast against a light background
  • Photos, as long as they're sharp
  • Text, if it isn't tiny

Doesn't press well

  • Small images blown up big — they go soft
  • Very pale colours, which wash out
  • Screenshots and images saved off social media
  • White as part of the design — it comes out as the fabric
  • Designs that need to be on something dark

Not sure? Send it anyway. We'll tell you honestly whether it'll work and what would work better.

How it goes

  1. Send us the picture With a note about what you'd like it on and roughly where the print should sit.
  2. We check it We'll say if the image is too small, too pale or the wrong shape, and what would work better.
  3. We quote Item, print size and quantity — and how long it'll take if we need to order the blank in. More than one of the same design is cheaper, because most of the work is the setup.
  4. You approve a mock-up The print laid out on the item, before anything is pressed.
  5. We press it and post it Usually within a week of you approving.

Things we've pressed

Example designs and photographs of things we've made. We'd rather show you ours than a stock picture of somebody else's. Tap a picture to see it bigger.

Design it

Pick what you'd like, add your picture or words, and drag them where you want them. What you see is roughly what gets pressed.

Dashed box = the print area. Drag a picture to move it.

£14.00 including UK delivery

Delivery is included in every price.

We'll email you a proof to approve before anything is pressed.
